The record flood level on Ba River (Dak Lak), far exceeding the flood peak of 1993, has left the online community extremely surprised when recalling the shocking prophecy of Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang before.
According to information from the hydrometeorological agency, in the early morning of November 20, the flood situation on the river system from Thua Thien - Hue to Khanh Hoa and the Central Highlands region was extremely complicated and dangerous. Alarmingly, water levels in many places exceeded historical flood levels that had ever been recorded.
Historic Flood Marker Was Overturned
The epicenter of the historic flood was the Ba River system in Dak Lak province. Cung Son Station: Peaked at 40.99m at 1:00 a.m. on November 20, 6.49m higher than Alert Level 3 and 1.09m higher than the historical flood level of 1993. Phu Lam Station: Peaked at 5.40m at 3:00 a.m., 0.19m higher than the historical standard of 1993. This confirms that the flood on the Ba River in Dak Lak has surpassed the flood peak of more than three decades ago.
In Khanh Hoa, the Cai Nha Trang River has also peaked and is decreasing. The water level at Dong Trang station at 5am was measured at 13.14m (2.14m higher than Alarm Level 3), but still about 0.20m lower than the historical flood peak in 2003.
While major rivers such as Huong, Bo (Hue), Kon (Gia Lai) are receding, floods on Dinh Ninh Hoa River, Cai Phan Rang River (Khanh Hoa) and especially Krong Ana River (Dak Lak) continue to increase, maintaining a very high warning level.
Flood Forecast for the Next 24 Hours
The flood situation is forecast to remain very tense in the next 24 hours: Ba River: Floods remain at a very high level, equivalent to or above Alert Level 3 (historic flood level in 1993) in the next 6 hours. After that, the flood will gradually decrease but will remain above the Alert Level 3 threshold during the next 24 hours.
Krong Ana River (Dak Lak): Highest risk, flood continues to rise and is expected to exceed Alert Level 3 in the next 6-12 hours, and maintain this high level in the next 12-24 hours. Kon River and Thu Bon River: Continue to fall, expected to fall below Alert Level 2 (Kon River) and below Alert Level 1 (Thu Bon River) in the next 12-24 hours.
In general, in the next 24 hours, rivers from Hue to Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak will remain at Alert Level 1 to Alert Level 3, with the possibility of some places continuing to exceed Alert Level 3, posing a risk of widespread flooding.
Images and clips circulating on social media, recording the scene of rising floodwaters sweeping away a barber shop, are clear evidence of the sudden rise and terrible devastation of this natural disaster.
Faced with the tense flood situation, the Vietnamese online community was abuzz and could not help but express concern over the prophecy of Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang. Accordingly, she predicted: "Vietnam will be flooded, need to stock up on food, everything will be submerged in water. The North, Central, and South will be flooded, places that have never been thought of will also be affected, and will suffer heavy damage."
People are advised to closely monitor weather developments, follow instructions from local authorities, evacuate safely, and proactively respond to minimize damage to people and property during the flood season, which is at its peak and is likely to exceed historical levels.
Ms. Phuong Hang said that in the depths of Truong Ngoc Anh's secret palace, netizens were seriously shocked!
Keng13:40:15 01/11/2025The news that actor Truong Ngoc Anh was arrested caused a big shock to the Vietnamese entertainment industry in 2025. In the midst of people's confusion, Ms. Phuong Hang suddenly went on a livestream to mention the actress's name.
