However, Dat affirmed to participate in Vietnam Idol with a serious spirit, not to attract attention. Facing the notions of TikTokers participating in music contests just to create PR effects and increase views for personal channels. Thanh Dat shared his views: "I understand that many people may think so. TikTokers participate in singing competitions to increase coverage. However, I disagree. I value and commit to the path of singing. I believe there will come a time when that prejudice will dissipate if I excel as a singer."

After stopping in the top 15 of Vietnam Idol, Lohan continued to appear at "Confession of Perfect Love" as one of the 10 male leads of the show.
