In July, Lam Phuc conquered the judges and awarded him the golden ticket when singing Confessions to Strangers (Tien Cookie). The Vietnam Idol 2023 contestant added: "But above all, it's the pressure for me to grow up and make a difference for myself. Having the pressure to grow up, to me, that's much more valuable." .

As for My Tam's comment, Lam Phuc said he was happy to receive it. Because according to the male contestant: "You are the teacher who has guided Mr. Duc Phuc from the early days. I did some research to know how valuable a compliment from Ms. My Tam is. However, I don't because That's why I stopped practicing and trying. I'm still studying with almost a full schedule every day."

According to Lam Phuc, being noticed in the first round of competition is a happiness but also a lot of pressure. Nearly two months into participating in the contest, Lam Phuc said he learned many things from his fellow contestants. He admits that he is mediocre so he still has shortcomings that need to be improved. Currently, Lam Phuc and the top 30 are receiving additional professional guidance from the program advisor - vocal teacher Nguyen Hoang My Ngoc. In addition, he learned to free his body and improve his choreography and performance style.
