The whistleblower who accused Thai gamers of cheating in the match against Vietnam has been identified.

The withdrawal of the Thai women's Arena of Valor team from the SEA Games 33 is currently the focus of public attention. Team captain Givemeakiss has officially spoken out about the painful moment when she had to directly expose her teammate's cheating on the battlefield.

A harsh decision for the honor of the nation.

After the Esports Federation of Thailand (TESF) announced the disqualification of Naphat Warasin (alias Tokyogurl) for violating Article 9.4.3 regarding the unauthorized use of third-party software on December 15th, the entire women's team made a shocking decision: to withdraw from the tournament.

In a tearful interview with the media, captain Givemeakiss (Jomkhon Phumsinil) shared that this was a painful but necessary choice to protect the spirit of sportsmanship. As the host team, they would not allow any cheating to tarnish their national colors, even if the price was the gold medal dream they had worked so hard to achieve.

Givemeakiss revealed that the incident came to light during the match. When the game was temporarily paused for a technical check by the organizers, the referee gave the first warning about the use of Discord – an application banned in professional competition to prevent receiving information from outside sources.

"I was incredibly shocked at that moment. My hands were trembling as I realized that my long-held fears had come true. As soon as the match ended, I immediately reported it to the coach and my teammates to request a thorough investigation," Givemeakiss recalled, his voice choked with emotion.

Although Tokyogurl was the oldest member of the team, in the face of irrefutable evidence, the captain and coaching staff decided to immediately substitute him to facilitate the investigation.

Suspicion was overcome by rage.

Notably, this wasn't the first time the team members suspected Tokyogurl. Givemeakiss stated that she and another teammate noticed unusual signs in the final two days before the tournament began. However, when the team tried to confront Tokyogurl to clarify the situation, the latter reacted very aggressively.

The "eSports Goddess" was accused of losing her temper and demanding that her juniors apologize for daring to doubt her. Lacking concrete evidence, coupled with pressure to achieve results and respect for their senior, the team had to accept a reconciliation to continue training. No one expected that this concession would lead to a bitter outcome on the international stage.

A belated apology and affirmation of innocence.

On behalf of the remaining members, Givemeakiss firmly asserted that they were completely uninvolved and unaware of Tokyogurl's sophisticated behavior until the incident was discovered by the referee.

"We apologize to the people of Thailand. It's truly heartbreaking that things ended this way," she shared tearfully. This incident not only ended Tokyogurl's career but also left a deep scar on the Thai eSports community at this year's tournament.

Concluding the shocking scandal, what remains is not only outrage over the cheating, but also sorrow for the remaining female members of the Thai RoV team.
