Until now, the passing of former One Direction member Liam Payne still leaves behind countless regrets and sorrows from colleagues and fans around the world.
The passing of former One Direction member Liam Payne at the age of 31 on October 16 after an incident at a hotel has shocked and saddened the global public because the singer was still so young. Many colleagues, friends, and relatives have posted articles to remember Liam Payne, making the audience emotional.
However, recently, a male artist has made Liam Payne's fans extremely angry. Accordingly, after the former One Direction member passed away, on October 28, producer Sam Pounds announced the release of the first song after the singer's death, which surprised the audience. Accordingly, this is a collaboration called Do No Wrong. However, the next day, Sam Pounds canceled the release of this song out of respect for the Payne family.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Sam Pounds said: "Today I decided to keep Do No Wrong and give that freedom to all members of my family. I want all proceeds to go to the charity of their choice (or any other organization they wish).
Although we all love this song, it is not yet time. We are still waiting for Liam's departure and I want his family to go in peace and prayer. We will all wait."
Before announcing the cancellation, Sam Pounds shared about Do No Wrong in a since-deleted post on X: "I pray that this will be a blessing to the world like Liam always dreamed. I pray that the angels will comfort you all every day when you listen. I pray that this song will be a blessing to Ruth, Bear and the whole family," the musician said.
Pounds continued: "I pray that this song will overshadow the negative echoes. I pray that supernatural positive healing power will envelop each and every one of you."
However, Liam Payne's fan community has claimed that the real reason why this song was not "released" as Sam Pounds intended was because the male musician faced opposition from the late singer's family.
Liam Payne fans made it clear in a post on X: "We've been told that Liam's family are not in favour of releasing Do No Wrong. We find it disgusting to see someone trying to profit from his passing and claiming to be doing so in homage.
Out of respect for Liam and his family, we will also not be supporting this release."
After Liam Payne passed away, many people were surprised when 10 songs from the band One Direction simultaneously appeared on the global Spotify chart after the group's entire discography increased streaming achievements in recent days.
Specifically, 10 One Direction songs simultaneously returned to the global Spotify chart: Night Changes (#6 - 4,653 million streams), Story Of My Life (#11 - 3,994 million streams), What Makes You Beautiful (#29 - 2,655 million streams), Perfect (#33 - 2,444 million streams), Steal My Girl (#51- 2,165 million streams), You & I (#87 - 1,714 million streams), Drag Me Down (#103 - 1.61 million streams), 18 (#122 - 1,527 million streams), Best Song Ever (#129 - 1,494 million streams), Right Now (#178 - 1,348 million streams).
The reason why a series of One Direction songs returned to the global Spotify charts is because after the death of group member Liam Payne, audiences around the world sought out these hits again. However, the "resurrection" of One Direction's songs did not make the fan community happy, but on the contrary, they felt extremely heartbroken because from now on, the hope that this group would reunite to release new music products will no longer be possible.
