The appearance of 'swimmer' Anh Vien in Running Man Vietnam season 3 became a highlight. She was praised for her subtlety and grace when responding to Tran Thanh about her weight. At the same time, she was compared to Lamoon who was criticized for being rude.
Participating in a reality show as big as Running Man Vietnam season 3 for the first time, Anh Vien quickly became the highlight of the broadcast. Although a bit shy at first, the female swimmer "melted" thanks to the sophistication of the main cast, especially Tran Thanh. The audience immediately called out Lamoon's name for comparison, when Anh Vien proved her charm and spirit of dedication were completely different.
Anh Vien turns Tran Thanh's tables: From female swimmer to female lieutenant colonel with 150 medals
Right from the start, Tran Thanh had thoughtfully asked Anh Vien about the program, creating an opportunity for her to "tease" him in a clever way. In particular, when entering the water sports game, Tran Thanh proactively challenged Anh Vien to a swimming competition instead of running on water. This action was considered by the audience to be extremely subtle, helping the female swimmer to be more confident and conveniently show off her unique swimming strength.
During the competition, Anh Vien made a strong impression with her skillful butterfly swimming ability, while Tran Thanh made people laugh by "overdoing it" and accepting defeat to his opponent. This moment made the audience excited because of the sincere support of his senior.
Not only playing the game with all her heart, Anh Vien also won the sympathy of the audience thanks to her cuteness, charm and care for the members. She always walked beside Lan Ngoc to support her or walked slowly so that Lan Ngoc could catch up, showing a beautiful personality and kindness rarely seen in reality game shows.
Contrasting comparison: Female swimmer shines, Lamoon is boycotted
Anh Vien's brilliance has made many people call out Lamoon - the guest of the rival show 2 Days 1 Night. Lamoon recently caused a storm of criticism for his crying and complaining attitude during the challenge. The climax was his retort to Ngo Kien Huy which received a lot of mixed opinions and angered the public because of his low EQ.
Although Lamoon later wrote a letter expressing his personal opinion in defense, and then a long post apologizing to the audience (late on October 28), these actions still did not appease public opinion. The comparison between Anh Vien - a dedicated and delicate person - and Lamoon emphasized the importance of modesty and high EQ when participating in reality shows.
Anh Vien's impressive profile: 150 medals and the youngest female lieutenant colonel
Born in 1996 in Can Tho, Nguyen Thi Anh Vien is one of the most outstanding swimmers in the history of Vietnamese swimming. She started training professionally at the age of 10 and shone at the 26th SEA Games when she was only 15.
During her career of more than a decade, Anh Vien has participated in three consecutive Olympics and owns about 150 medals of all kinds, with a record of 25 SEA Games gold medals and many national records. Although she decided to retire in October 2021, she continues to contribute as a coach and UNICEF Ambassador. Notably, in 2023, Anh Vien was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel, the youngest professional soldier in Vietnam, becoming a shining example of talent and beautiful personality for young people.
