Kim Thu's full name is Nguyen Ngoc Kim Thu, born in 2011. She first became known to the audience when participating in Vietnam's Got Talent with the comedy group Paper Dragonfly, when she was only 4 years old. Kim Shu's role as Xiao Huli conquered the judges and audience in semi-final night 7.

After her impressive comedy performance on television, Kim Thu started acting. She appeared in two films - Winning the Lottery and Ghost Hospital - before being given the lead role in Sunshine. Her character is a poor girl who lives with her mother named Rain who is disabled. Although only 5 years old, Sunny is almost the breadwinner of the family, having to enter a life of earning a living by selling lottery tickets and collecting bottles.

This impressive role also officially brought Kim Thu's name to a new level, she officially had a successful role in her life, when she was just a toddler. After Sunshine 1 & 2 , Kim Thu is considered a talented child actor generation of Vietnamese cinema. Being fascinated with art since he was 4 years old, not yet able to read, had to learn acting and remember dialogue through people's instructions.

Flowing in the blood of an artist as well as living close and having a lot of contact with familiar people who are all top artists, there is no wonder Kim Thu showed her talent early.

Kim Thu's mother is artist Ngoc Nga, her maternal grandparents are veteran ancient artist Truong Son - Thanh Loan. Stepping on stage at the age of 3 or 4 when she did not know how to write, Thu used to be the No. 1 choice when directors were looking for child actors who could make people cry and laugh.

At the time Kim Thu participated in Sunny 1, she was only 5 years old, illiterate, so she could not read the script. Ms. Ngoc Nga - the baby's mother must follow closely to read the dialogue and guide the child how to grasp the psychology of the character to play the role. Although she is only 5 years old, Kim Thu has completed the role with many complex psychological changes, completely conquering the audience.

Few people know, after her daughter successfully casted the role of Sunny baby, when she received the script of Sunny in her hand, Nga was very confused. At that time, she thought about refusing because she was afraid her son would not be able to act. "The script is thick, turning every page I see Sunshine's segment because she is the main actress, so I am very worried," Nga shared.

But because she was afraid of losing the credibility of the person who assured the director of Kim Thu's role, actress Thu Trang, Nga wondered what to do.

Talking about her daughter's biggest difficulty when participating in Sunshine, Nga said: "The most difficult thing in Sunshine 1 is that she is not literate, I have to follow her closely. But in both parts, her most difficult point is "crossing" the character's psychology, having to cry in the first scene. If a play from start to finish, it's psychologically easier for the baby to shoot, the crying scene will be done right away."

"And the person who baits the baby to cry the most is actress Kieu Minh Tuan. He is always responsible for the role that Kim Thu plays, so he is always there to help her in the way of shooting," Nga added.

The role of Sunny helped her to be loved by many audiences, but her first role on the big stage was the role of Xiao Li in Vietnam's Got Talent at the age of 4.

Ms. Ngoc Nga shared, when the Paper Dragonfly group wanted her child to participate in the Got Talent contest, because Kim Thu was only 4 years old at the time, she only thought that she must have acted "lightly" for fun. "I didn't think her role would be so much dialogue and having to act like that," she said.

Appearing on the big stage for the first time, Kim Thu was practiced quite a lot by her teammates. "Everyone had to go back and forth, and I didn't expect such a brave child to go on tour," Ngoc Nga shared with a laugh.

"I don't believe he can do that, going to the exam is like taking a risk because he likes it so I agreed. When I was younger, I was so nervous, my heart wanted to drop. It wasn't until he finished the role that I breathed a sigh of relief."

Ms. Ngoc Nga also said that her daughter has the ability to sing cai luong, when she participated in singing cai luong in the group Blue Sun chaired by director Hoa Ha. The group often performs salary reform when giving scholarships to poor children. In the Blue Sun group, Kim Thu also participated in many roles such as step-aunt in Tam Bram, Ho Nhi saves the master...

Although her daughter is loved by a large audience and is considered a promising child talent, her mother does not think of her as talented. "I don't feel like she's too talented. I often show him many programs to learn more and always say 'I still have a lot to try,'" Nga said.

Currently, Kim Thu besides participating in theater plays, her family still wants Kim Thu to focus on her studies, not letting acting affect her school problems too much.
