Vu Thao My: Em Xinh in a wheelchair still wins over Miu Le, revealing past related to Mr. Dam?

After winning The Voice of Vietnam, up to now, Vu Thao My - Dam Vinh Hung's student has received more attention when participating in ' Em xinh Say hi '. Her most touching image at the show was probably being injured in a wheelchair but not dropping out of the competition.

Vu Thao My came to "Em xinh say hi", not only singing well, being "extremely" beautiful but also very funny. However, during the competition, she tore her knee ligaments before the 3rd live stage, singer Vu Thao My endured the pain to dance, sitting in a wheelchair right after finishing the performance.

Vu Thao My's story in the episode broadcast on the evening of July 12 moved MC Tran Thanh, other "beautiful girls" and the audience. Although she had some difficulty walking outside, when she entered the performance, Vu Thao My performed smoothly and sang well. Vu Thao My had an accident and was injured while practicing for the show at night. At that time, she encouraged herself to go home to rest, and that she would be fine after a nap. But when she woke up the next morning, her leg was in so much pain that she could not walk. After being hospitalized for a check-up, the female singer was asked by the doctor to wear a leg cast and limit her movement for two or three weeks.

However, Vu Thao My chose to keep the original competition and filming plan. To support her, the choreographer edited a part of the choreography in the song So dan, reducing the strong movements and frequency of her movements on stage. Team leader Phuong Ly and two members of the team - Chau Bui and Muoi - were all worried about Vu Thao My's condition and supported her to adjust the performance most appropriately.

Sharing this story, Chau Bui cried because she felt sorry for her colleague. She revealed that while she was injured, Vu Thao My texted the whole group to apologize for affecting everyone. Hearing her teammates say that, Vu Thao My herself also burst into tears on stage.

Phuong Ly said that she and the group members kept Vu Thao My's incident a secret before the performance because they wanted the audience to enjoy the performance completely and objectively. "We don't want the audience to feel sorry for Vu Thao My because she was injured. After the performance, we only shared a little bit. We know that all the teams worked very hard. In the first season of Em xinh say hi, Vu Thao My was in the group with vocal advantage. However, her performances in the previous rounds were not outstanding. So dat was her best performance since the beginning of the show.

In the performance "Da xinh lai con minh", she and the members brought a colorful version, in a vibrant cheerleader style. The song was remixed in a funky pop style, youthful and catchy, especially attracting attention with the impressive rewritten chorus "Em xinh xap xinh rap san".

Sharing about her first experience, Vu Thao My said: "Actually, at first, I was a bit "shy" when entering a team full of strong personalities, each with their own "color". Of course, I was also worried that I would be obscure, but luckily, I ended up catching the wave with the group of sisters. We didn't try to be close, but naturally became very close."

Live Stage 1 not only marked an impressive performance, but also opened a new journey for Vu Thao My. Although the female singer's alliance failed in episode 1, it still affirmed that Vu Thao My is a harmonious combination of professional strength and positive, humorous spirit, true to Gen Z.

Singer Vu Thao My was born in 1997, from Nam Dinh, and is the niece of model Vu Thu Phuong. She became known to the audience after winning the Voice of Vietnam 2013 when she had just finished 10th grade, under the guidance of coach Dam Vinh Hung.
