Kim Soo Hyun leaves the country, admits to dating Kim Sae Ron, clarifies love letter incident

On the morning of March 14, Kim Soo Hyun's management company issued a press release, giving the actor's stance on the information recently posted by the YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute (Garo Sero).

Kim Soo Hyun's agency has released a statement about the actor's unstable mental state, and has partially acknowledged the dating rumors with the late actress Kim Sae Ron, but stressed that their relationship did not start when she was a minor. "Additionally, another photo released by Gaseyeon on March 12, 2025 is a photo of the two of them taken on December 24, 2019, Christmas, and we have obtained the metadata for this photo (see below).

The photo released on March 13 was also taken on the same day, as can be seen by Kim Sae-ron wearing the same outfit.

All the photos that Gaseyeon presented as evidence that Kim Soo-hyun dated Kim Sae-ron since she was a minor were taken after Kim Sae-ron became an adult.

Gaseyeon's repeated claims about the "2016 photo" cannot exist, as the two were not dating at the time.

Regarding the letter in the army, the actor's side said that when he enlisted, Kim Soo Hyun sent letters to many close people, not just Kim Sae Ron.

The unit emphasized: "Garosero has arranged and edited the content of the letters, making them look like love letters to distort the truth."

Regarding Kim Sae Ron's financial problems, Gold Medalist Company helped settle the compensation of about 1.14 billion won (equivalent to 20 billion VND) after Kim Sae Ron's driving accident. Regarding the act of publicizing private information, Gold Medalist condemned the distortion of the truth and the spread of false information about Kim Soo Hyun. The company questioned the ethics and legality of publicizing personal information without the consent of the person involved.

The agency said it plans to refute Garo Sero's allegations with solid evidence and will release a statement next week. Gold Medalist shared that after Garo Sero reported, Kim Soo Hyun was heavily affected by the allegations that he was involved in Kim Sae Ron's sudden departure.
