Kim Soo Hyun faces a fine of 413 billion VND after the scanda.l, 16 brands remove their names

Amid the controversy surrounding the late actress Kim Sae Ron, advertising brands quickly took action against Kim Soo Hyun. Eider, Shabu All Day, and K2 Korea took turns deleting Kim Soo Hyun's image.

Homeplus removed Kim Soo Hyun's image from the app's loading screen. LG Household & Health Care made all of the actor's promotional videos private. He modeled for them from 2012-2015.

Previously, cosmetics company Dinto temporarily suspended all schedules related to the actor. CJ Foodville, which signed Kim Soo Hyun as a model for Tous Les Jours last September, may not renew the contract when it expires at the end of this month.

In 2012, T-ara was involved in a bullying scanda.l and was sued by fashion brand Chatelaine. T-ara's management company had to pay 400 million won (6.9 billion VND) in compensation, double the advertising fee. Actress Kim Min Hee was also said to have paid hundreds of millions of won in fines to a cosmetics company because of her scanda.l with director Hong Sang Soo.
