At the time of the collapse, there were 9 people at the scene, of which 3 belonged to the homeowner and 6 workers. At the time of the incident, 2 people were standing outside and escaped, while 7 people were hit by concrete.

Binh Thanh district authorities quickly arrived and took 5 people out to the emergency room, while the remaining 2 people were trapped deep inside. The Fire and Rescue Police Force (PC07) arrived at the scene to help search for victims.

According to information from VietnamNet, when conducting rescue operations, police had to use water jacks to widen gaps in the rubble to reach the victims.

Looking from above, the collapsed house is nestled among the surrounding high-rise buildings. The body of the house has completely collapsed. Alley 133 was temporarily blocked to serve scene processing work. Many ambulances were also mobilized to rescue victims. The scene was very dangerous, two victims were trapped deep inside the rubble. Among them, one victim was crushed by concrete and suffered a spinal injury.

To ensure the victim's safety before being taken out, the police asked a doctor from Binh Thanh district to come to the scene to provide initial first aid and brace the victim.

After completing the fixation and ensuring safety, the police pulled the victim out safely with a serious spinal injury.

Meanwhile, the second victim's leg was crushed by concrete, making it very difficult to pull him out. At this time, the police had to use machines to cut the surrounding concrete.
