John Huy Tran was born in 1979, he is a famous choreographer in the Vietnamese entertainment industry. Born into a family of martial arts. His father is a Taekwondo master. Currently they live in an apartment in Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh City. Every morning, both of them wake up to cook, drink coffee and listen to music. In their free time, the two take the dog they have adopted for more than a year for a walk. Occasionally, they organize short trips to "warm up" their feelings. Nhiem Huynh said: "13 years of knowing, 5 years of living together and 4 years of marriage, we still hope to have many more years together".

John Huy Tran is grateful to his partner who always loves and shares everything in life. After being together for nine years, they decided to register their marriage in Canada. The overseas Vietnamese choreographer said that when he was dating, he often pushed Nhiem Huynh away, then they both found new people, but eventually reunited. After many times "the mirror is broken again", John Huy Tran realizes that Nhiem Huynh is the person who can accept everything in him, the overseas Vietnamese choreographer also believes in his partner completely.

After getting married, Huy Tran bought an apartment far from the city center because he wanted a quiet space. Although he didn't like it because he had to work far away, Nhiem Huynh ignored his personal inconvenience to build a home together. Every day, my partner always comes home to have dinner with Huy Tran. "Nem Huynh is thoughtful and understands the psychology of others. At this age, I need my family more than other things," the artist said.

In 2019, John Huy Tran introduced Gaia dance, raising issues about air pollution, water sources, cutting down trees and deforestation. His partner stands behind the organization, makes a guest list, takes care of his image so that he can shine on stage.

In 2021, John Huy Tran suffered from emotional disorders and depression. In the early stages, he could not get out of bed, eat, walk, or talk. "Every night I have nightmares, trouble sleeping, weakness and paralysis. I need to count to three for every step I take, or else I will feel pain. I need help showering and very dependent on others. ", I said. At that time, there was a time when the choreographer cried, hugged Nhiem Huynh and begged "Don't leave me" for fear that his partner could not stand it.

Experiencing challenges, the two's feelings become stronger. His partner finds ways to make Huy Tran happy, take care of him, and massage his head every night. For many months, Nhiem Huynh worked online from home, spending time taking John Huy Tran to see a therapist.

During the pandemic, we had to spend a lot of time together, but Johnny Tran still did not feel bored with his partner. "There are some days when I feel like we both have too much time together but that's fine. Normally, we both work and have irregular hours. Now, we both have a lot of time together, so there's a lot of time for each other. We can watch movies together, cook together, laugh together... ", he said.

From the day of marriage, Huy Tran's partner became happy and open, changing to reconcile life. Previously, Nhiem Huynh did not like cooking and washing dishes, now he is willing to go online to learn how to prepare Western dishes according to the taste of the male choreographer. Knowing that John Huy Tran loves animals, he bought a dog for both of them to take care of. Every night, they do not forget to give each other a kiss, good night.

Although the performance work touches many people, the artist said that he has never let his partner get jealous. He did not hide anything from Nhiem Huynh. "We have codes to unlock each other's phones or social media accounts. Wherever we go, we both tell each other," said John Huy Tran. The duo planned to have a baby several years ago through medical help, but it was not easy to do. "Children are predestined, we think if there is one more child in the house, the home will be more complete," said John Huy Tran.
