J-Hope (BTS) lost sleep because of Jimin, why?

BTS' J-Hope has become the first Korean artist to take the main stage at Lollapalooza, one of the most iconic music festivals in the United States, rivaling Coachella and South by South West.

Although J-Hope is part of the most popular K-pop act in history, this will be the first time he has stood on stage alone, performing solo songs without the BTS members. On top of that, he was the featured artist for one of the biggest music festivals in America and had to perform alone for an hour as the main gig.

With this in mind, it's natural to be nervous before the event, even for a professional artist like J-Hope. The male idol shared that he couldn't even eat and sleep because he was so nervous before his big concert in Chicago. J-Hope even shared with fans that he practiced for 6 hours a day so as not to embarrass the name BTS.

J-Hope shared that the pressure to fill the stage alone was so great that he lost sleep and couldn't even sleep because he missed his members so much. That's when member Jimin decided to fly to Chicago to support J-Hope through this whole endeavor.

In fact, Jimin suddenly decided to get on a plane to Chicago a few days after J-Hope left. Many people thought that Jimin had a separate schedule to join, but it turns out that Jimin flew in to fully support J-Hope and be there for him.

During a live broadcast, Jimin shared that he felt that J-Hope would be lonely during this solo promotion because the members have been together all this time. So he decided to go and support J-Hope.

J-Hope feels incredibly grateful for Jimin and expresses that Jimin is a ray of sunshine in his dark times when trying to cope with the pressure of performing alone.

J-Hope said, "I didn't have any cravings when I went to America and I barely ate. Only when Jimin came, that's when I could eat. While preparing for the performance, it felt like a world. The world is dark, but Jimin is the light. Jimin has helped me a lot."

For nearly 9 years, even when they have their own houses, BTS members are known to still live together until now.

Previously, all 7 people had to share a room with each other in pairs, but since moving to a larger place and now in Hannam Seoul - the most expensive luxury complex, BTS members have been able to find I have more privacy than before.

However, 2 members Jimin and J-Hope still keep their old habits when sharing a room with 2 single beds.

From the old dorm to the current residence, the shared room is still decorated by Jimin and J-Hope. And most recently, fans can admire the room up close in the MV Life Goes On: On My Pillow.

Jimin's bed is on the left and J-Hope's is on the right, but from the bed, Jimin looks straight out to see J-Hope's photo and vice versa. I don't know why, but this small act clearly shows the close brotherly relationship between the couple sharing a room for more than 9 years.

I don't know how long the two will stick together, but having a roommate like Jimin or J-Hope would be nice to know. Although many times Hope had to remind him to turn off the lights before going to bed, or yelling at Jimin's habit of staying up late and sleeping until the next afternoon.

J-Hope - a rapper, songwriter and dancer - is the third member to join BTS, after RM and Suga. His 2018 debut single "Hope World" peaked at number 38 on the Billboard 200, making him the highest-charting Korean solo artist on the US album chart at the time, according to Wikipedia.
