Mr. Kiet said that the Department had coordinated with the authorities to clarify the relevant contents and advised the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City in administratively sanctioning Huong Giang Entertainment Co., Ltd. Accordingly, based on Decree 38/2021/ND-CP, Huong Giang's company was fined 55 million VND.

A representative of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City recommended that individuals and organizations operating in the field of culture and art need to comply with the provisions of the law, contributing to creating a healthy and fair operating environment. Any violation will be strictly handled according to regulations.

Previously, on April 8, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City received information about the final program of Ambassador Perfection 2023 held at a film studio in District 12.

Immediately after receiving the information, the Department's inspection representative actively coordinated with Team 3 of the Internal Political Security Division (PA03) of the City Police and the District 12 Culture and Information Office, proposing to nominate forces inspect and handle according to regulations" , Ms. Nguyen My Hanh said at a press conference on April 13.

After the working process, the inspection team asked the organizer to stop the program with the reason that "organizing beauty and model contests without the written approval of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City". However, the organizers did not comply and continued to carry out the final program of Perfect Ambassador.

Previously, on May 11, the representative of the Organizing Committee of Ambassador Perfection 2023 also made a post to acknowledge the error, sent to fans on the program's fanpage. The contest side said that after receiving the notice from the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, the Organizing Committee quickly performed its obligations and responsibilities to work with the Department.

"The Organizing Committee has requested, listened to explanations about errors, as well as been instructed to follow the prescribed procedures when organizing the program. Through the implementation of the program, the Organizing Committee has received aware of errors and omissions when implementing the Perfect Ambassador program and has seriously complied and implemented the sanctioning decision in accordance with the law," the Organizing Committee wrote.

At the beginning of the year, Perfect Ambassador returned after two events, with the theme Brave Purple - Brave colors, in order to find candidates who overcome prejudices to live in reality. In February, Huong Giang planned to hold an event to announce the top 20 but was canceled just before the start time. According to the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City, the organizer has applied for a license to organize the event, but the Department found that the dossier did not meet the prescribed procedures, so it asked to stop.

After seven episodes in the reality TV format, broadcast on YouTube, the finale took place, and the winner was Nguyen Ha Diu Thao, 23 years old. If licensed, she will be a Vietnamese transgender beauty participating in the Miss International transgender playground held in Thailand in June, following the achievements of Do Nhat Ha and Phung Truong Tran Dai.
