Hung Thuan was born in 1983 in Ho Chi Minh City. Hung Thuan became famous at a young age when he participated in the movie "Dat Phuong Nam" by director Nguyen Vinh Son with the role of An.

When he first tried his hand at a new field, Hung Thuan received many mixed opinions. He was teased that he was an out-of-date actor so he became a "land broker", using the artist's name to sell expensive real estate... Facing the gossip, Hung Thuan was not upset. He believed that any job was fine as long as it was honest and had an income to support himself.

"Some people say I'm an out-of-date actor who has become a land broker or think I use my artist label to sell expensive real estate. At times like that, I just stay silent, don't argue, but quietly focus on my work, reaping good results to prove that I'm doing the right thing. I'm not ashamed to be called a "land broker" because I think doing an honest job will provide an income to support myself," Hung Thuan shared.

However, Hung Thuan then had to close 2 companies. He said: "I opened 3 company offices, and now I have to close 2 companies and cut nearly 200 employees because I don't have enough operating costs."

However, at that time, this "boss" said he did not feel too worried or uncertain.

"I'm not afraid because that's a common difficulty of the real estate market... I have many other sources of income, not just from real estate," he said.

Thanks to his successful business, at the age of 42, Hung Thuan was able to buy a car and no longer had to live in a cramped rented house like before. On his personal page, he often livestreams to share about his work. In his free time, this "boss" often travels here and there, enjoying life and recharging his batteries to work more effectively. Despite having a stable financial life, the former actor denies that he is a "real estate tycoon" as many people say.

In August 2024, during a livestream sharing about the real estate brokerage profession, Hung Thuan made a statement that attracted attention. Hung Thuan introduced a house worth 15 billion VND. An audience member commented that he only had 10 billion VND, still short of 5 billion VND, so he could not buy it, and asked to borrow 5 billion VND from Hung Thuan. The former actor immediately spoke up: "Ok, I will support you. Anyone who is short of 5 billion VND to buy a house, I will lend them. I have those things."

Regarding his personal love life, Hung Thuan got married for the first time in 2008, divorced in 2014 and has a 15-year-old son. After the divorce, his son lived with his mother. The actor and his ex-wife had a period of reunion but then officially went their separate ways.
