At noon on October 10, Thang wore a cap, mask, dark glasses, a long-sleeved shirt, and walked with a backpack to a bank branch on Truong Vinh Ky Street, Tan Phu District. Stopped by security guards because the bank was off, she asked to go inside to "get things to forget." Thang went straight to the counter where two female employees were cleaning, preparing to close the door.
