Hoang Huong's popularity on social media began through online sales livestreams. Initially, the products were mainly mouthwash, functional foods and dental services. Not only stopping at introducing products, Huong often took advantage of live sessions and posts to show off her personal assets such as houses, mone.y, land certificates, and organizing grand fan-off events, lucky draws to receive huge gifts to attract followers.
This strategy, though controversial, has helped her build a huge following on social media platforms: Page "Hoang Huong" with 1.3 million followers, "Hoang Huong Family" 1.4 million, "Hoang Huong International Dentistry" 2.1 million, and "Hoang Huong Cosmetic Dentistry" 1.5 million. All of these accounts use Hoang Huong's profile picture, creating a strong but controversial personal brand.
Series of statements and actions that anger the community
Hoang Huong's popularity mainly stems from controversies surrounding her business activities, her inappropriate statements, and her use of noise to promote herself and attract crowds. These actions not only show disrespect but also harm the culture and community.
Typically, on February 6, 2023, during a livestream on TikTok, Hoang Huong caused a stir when she made seriously insulting comments about the dignity and honor of local people providing flower services to tourists at Tham Ma slope (Ha Giang), calling them "beggars".

After the incident, Thao Thi Mua (Ha Giang) officially filed a petition to handle Hoang Huong's insulting behavior, leading to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Giang province and the provincial police having to send an invitation to Hoang Huong to work to verify and handle the matter.
Previously, in 2020, Hoang Huong also posted inaccurate and fabricated information about the storm situation in Quang Binh. She said that Le Thuy district was not as pitiful as the media "embroidered" and expressed disappointment when she went there to do charity work.
This false information has caused public confusion, seriously affecting the reputation and honor of the people and the support work to overcome the consequences of the donors, as well as the authorities at all levels of Quang Binh province.
