On September 26, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed a decision to award a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister to singer Duc Phuc for his achievement of winning the championship of an international music competition in Russia.

The certificate awarding ceremony took place on the afternoon of September 26 at the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) chaired by Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong.

At the certificate award ceremony, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong highly appreciated Duc Phuc's achievements in the international arena.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that after the Ministry announced the good news, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent a letter praising the male singer's achievements.

Besides, the Prime Minister emphasized that Duc Phuc's achievements deserve a certificate of merit.

"This is a great honor for young artists. This achievement is also a source of pride for young artists - those who are striving to contribute their best to the country. Duc Phuc's example will be a motivation for many other young artists.

When looking for a contestant, we chose Duc Phuc, and we also put our trust in musician Ho Hoai Anh," said Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong.

The leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism affirmed that Duc Phuc's achievements are the combination of the artist and the creative team.

Sharing at the ceremony, singer Duc Phuc shared behind-the-scenes stories and difficulties in his journey to win the championship at Intervision 2025. The male singer said that this was the first time he participated in an international competition, so he could not avoid being nervous.

"I was very worried because this was my first time coming to an international stage, and I had to compete with many talented international artists. After meeting with the creative team to complete Phu Dong Thien Vuong, the burden on me was reduced a little. With Phu Dong Thien Vuong, I think I have solved the difficult problem. Right from the beginning of looking for a work to compete, I always kept in mind that what I wanted most in this journey was to bring traditional culture, national cultural identity, the spirit of the Vietnamese people... to the international arena. How can I express all of that through music," Duc Phuc said.

The male singer also revealed that the performance he brings to the international arena must be one that makes the audience "surprised" and "exclaim". "I came to the competition with a very strong mindset, proud to bring Vietnamese music to the world. When I performed, I felt that foreign audiences were very supportive of Vietnam. I never thought that international audiences would support me like this. I am extremely proud", Duc Phuc shared.

Recalling the moment of his coronation, Duc Phuc said: "When I got off the stage, I kept saying to the interpreter: 'Can you pinch me?' I thought I was dreaming but it turned out to be true. The singer's full name is Nguyen Duc Phuc, 28 years old, from Hanoi. In 2015, he was the champion of the Voice Vietnam contest under the guidance of My Tam.
