Later, when the children grew up and had better conditions, they intended to demolish the old house and rebuild it to make it more spacious, but Mr. Thang and his wife refused. Mr. Thang further shared that when his son went to compete and how much he received, he never asked. "That is the child's right to privacy. My husband and I still grow rice and raise livestock ourselves, and our life is considered enough. When the children buy things for the family, they think for themselves. I don't ask for anything. The simpler I think, the more comfortable I am. My two children are also filial and responsible. Since growing up, they have never let their parents lack anything."
