Teacher Do Thu Thuy, also known by her familiar name "Ms. Thuy MC" on TikTok, is a prominent figure in the Vietnamese social media community. With more than 155.1 thousand followers and 1.3 million likes on the TikTok platform.

Teacher Do Thu Thuy was born in 1984, very active, and had artistic talent since childhood. As a student, Do Thu Thuy often participated in union activities and was part of the school's art troupe.

After graduating from Hanoi Pedagogical University, majoring in Music, Do Thu Thuy tried her hand at television. In 2004, she decided to "follow her heart" and go to the highlands to teach. The first school she taught at was Lung Khau Nhin Primary School (Muong Khuong District).

The days of climbing mountains, wading streams, and wading through fog to get to class with her students inspired Ms. Thuy to compose the song "From Lung Khau Nhin School", which later became the school's traditional song. "The cheerful melody of the song is like the bustling footsteps on the winding, bumpy but hopeful road to school of the children. Every Monday morning, when the flag is raised, the song is sung as if inviting the children to class, to school" - Ms. Thuy confided.

Recently on her personal TikTok channel, stemming from viewers' love for the teacher, a situation attracted attention when a social media user left a request: "Request the teacher to hold a parent-teacher meeting every 3 days so that fathers can keep track of their children's studies". Being put in a somewhat sensitive situation, the teacher responded in an extremely intelligent and graceful way. She gently shared: "Caring beyond the norm".

This behavior has made many people admire her not only for her intelligence in communication but also for the way she maintains her professionalism and does not let herself get caught up in awkward comments. The teacher not only maintains the sympathy of netizens for her but also proves herself to be an intelligent person who knows how to maintain respect for the profession.

For nearly 20 years of teaching, Ms. Thuy has won many First Prizes in the Provincial Excellent Teacher Competition. Ms. Thuy said: Children have the typical accent of the mountainous people, so they often speak with an unconscious lisp or many children have a congenital lisp. For each case, it is necessary to apply specific treatment methods and instructions.

Many children when coming to the center were still shy and self-conscious, but with Ms. Thuy's guidance in practicing their speech, they gradually improved. "Treating lisping is very difficult. Some children have to spend dozens of sessions just to practice their speech and reach the correct point of a sound or syllable. During the practice process, both the teacher and the student must be very patient, persistent and determined to get good results," said Ms. Thuy.

At the center, there are students who are depressed and shy, but after only 4-5 lessons, they are open and confident in hosting a radio show, sharing their feelings of love for their mothers. Or there is a student who is over 60 years old this year but is still determined to practice speaking well with the desire to be an MC for the elderly association in the residential group.

The more she interacts with students, the more Ms. Thuy loves her teaching career and is proud of the path she is taking. "Many parents burst into tears when they see their children successfully overcome lisping. Their joy is also my happiness," Ms. Thuy confided.

Teacher Do Thu Thuy’s vision does not stop at the present but looks to a more distant future, where she can continue to contribute to improving the quality of education and life skills in Vietnam.
