Do Thi Lan Anh was born in 1997 in Ho Chi Minh City. When she was just 1 year old, the beauty moved with her family to Poland and then moved to the US when she was 6 years old. She graduated with a degree in business administration from California State University - Fullerton (USA). However, Lan Anh admitted that not growing up in Vietnam made her feel a bit lonely and "backward" as she did not understand the slang words of the country's youth.

Lan Anh claims to be an "outsider" at Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 because of difficulties in communicating and presenting in Vietnamese in front of the audience. However, the support from other contestants helped her regain confidence and better understand her country's culture. The beauty is still trying to better understand her homeland, affirming that Vietnam is a beautiful country with friendly people.

Since childhood, Lan Anh liked to wear dresses and skirts, performed in front of her parents at a "mini fashion show" at home, and regularly participated in fashion activities while still at school. Although she loves standing on stage, her biggest motivation to participate in Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 is the opportunity to connect with the young generation and spread the message of environmental protection.

According to Lan Anh, small actions such as recycling plastic bottles, old clothes, planting small trees at home, using public transportation more... will help minimize negative impacts on the environment.
