Talking about his passion for acting, he said: "My first role was the role of Cu Thuy. The first time I accepted the role, I was so happy, I couldn't sleep. Although his appearance became an advantage when filming, "Cu Thuc" still encountered many difficulties. Sharing about his personality, "Cu Thuc" admitted that he is quite stubborn and funny. He said he doesn't like people talking about his age. "There were many times when I was filming, people asked me how old I was, and I said I was 8 years old so people could stop talking. Everywhere I go, people talk about me, so I'm sad. But now I think I can just act, be in a movie and do well," he once confided on television.

In 2019, Cu Thuy participated in "The Story of a Prosperous Family" with artist Giang Coi. Because of his agile and cunning appearance, Cu Thuy is often chosen for loose playboy roles. However, the 140 cm tall male star has also faced criticism from the audience many times for participating in many negative and vulgar content.
