To take care of her family, Xuan Mai used to work many different jobs: assistant at a pho shop, selling phone sales, working manually at small businesses. The images of her at that time made many viewers sad when compared to the golden age in Vietnam. But through each job, Xuan Mai has never complained. Her perseverance and sense of responsibility are evident in the way she quietly builds a new life, not taking advantage of her fame to attract attention or ask for help from fans.
