He said: "We just wanted to have a happy vacation and booked to enjoy happy moments. We arrived at the airport in Turkey and everything was fine, we booked a private transfer and got to the checkpoint where they picked us up.

We were taken to the hotel we booked at around 1am and the gate was locked. We walked around to the other side and saw a few people on the balcony so we tried to ask them for the entrance. They said go around to the front.

There was a security guard looking at us and yelling at us to get out of there, go find somewhere else and the hotel was not open to civilians.

We showed them the booking information and hotel name but they kept shaking their heads."

After that, Aaron Hatton and his group of friends had no choice but to stay at another hotel, believed to be the same hotel system as booked. But after settling in, they were told that alcohol was not allowed as part of the package they booked.

He said: "After 11:30 p.m., we were told that we could only get drinks from the machine and that it was not safe to leave the hotel at night. They told us to go to our rooms and close the door tightly." again.

We paid extra for a larger room with a sea view at the hotel originally booked for £84 (2.5 million VND) per night but ended up not being able to stay. The room in the hotel we temporarily rented only had one double bed and one single bed, which was very cramped."

Aaron's group did not contact the Loveholidays until October 8, when they decided they had "had enough" of trouble and wanted to go home.

They were forced to pay 570 pounds (17 million VND) to fly home after only 48 hours abroad.

Aaron said: "It was stressful and traumatic. We were abandoned in a foreign country in the middle of the night with nowhere to go. We complained on October 13 and they just said the The matter is being processed. We tried calling Loveholidays but they said this customer service is only for people who are still on vacation."
