Chau Tuan revealed that his partner was worried, so he did not pressure the economy. "After the pandemic, I went back to singing but there wasn't much work so John advised me to start making an album. "John knew this was my big dream in singing so he made it happen. He said just pick what's best, he's willing to invest. I feel fortunate to be able to make art while many other artists struggle to make ends meet in America," he added.

According to Chau Tuan, his partner has a high income from a management job in a medical device company. Both choose a simple lifestyle, not passionate about shopping, but focusing on health care, accumulating for old ag.e.

Outside of work, same-sex couples enjoy socializing with friends, participating in artist parties in California. For Chau Tuan, it was happy enough, so he and John did not think about having children, using volunteering as a source of long-term joy.
