On her personal page, female artist Cat Phuong revealed that she is experiencing alarming symptoms such as bleeding from the ears, neck pain, arm paralysis, risk of stroke, and severe cervical disc herniation.
Recurrent otitis media, persistent ear bleeding

At that time, she went to the hospital for a check-up, was diagnosed with otitis media, and prescribed oral medication and ear drops. Initially, the symptoms showed signs of improvement. However, recently, the condition suddenly relapsed and became more severe.
"My ear started to itch and ache. It ached constantly. The worst was yesterday and today, blood was flowing from my ear. Not much but enough to make me panic," Cat Phuong shared.
The artist also revealed that she has scheduled a follow-up visit to the hospital to re-examine her ear condition and receive timely treatment. Many viewers expressed concern and advised her not to be subjective because if otitis media persists, it can cause serious complications and affect hearing.
Cervical disc herniation, arm paralysis and pre-stroke signs
Not only facing ear problems, Cat Phuong also said that she is suffering from a herniated disc in her neck. This condition causes her to have frequent pain, especially in her neck and shoulders, along with numbness in her right arm. Every morning when she wakes up, she has to perform massage and stretching movements to be able to move normally.
"Sometimes when I wake up, I can't lift my arm. It's like I'm paralyzed. It takes 15-20 minutes of massaging, squeezing, and pulling before my arm can move again," she confided.
The artist also mentioned the warning signs of a pre-stroke that she had experienced not long ago. Although she did not identify them specifically, the severe headaches and persistent fatigue made her worried. "My body is on alert," she wrote.
Cat Phuong once had to sell blood to make a living.
In addition to sharing about her current health, Cat Phuong also opened up about her difficult past. The artist said that when she was young, she had to go through many days of struggling because she had no money to eat, and even had to sell blood to survive.
"Every time I sell blood, I feel weak. But I still have to do it, because it's the only way to live," she recalled with tears in her eyes.
The story once moved many viewers because of the extraordinary determination of a woman who overcame poverty to pursue art. Although she is no longer in the same situation as before, with her health deteriorating, the female artist said she appreciates life more and tries to preserve it every day.
Absent from art, prioritizing health

She has almost withdrawn from the stage and entertainment activities to focus on taking care of her health and spending time for herself. The actress once said that her age and career pressure made her need a quiet moment to look back on her life.
Although audiences have repeatedly expressed their desire to see her return to the stage, Cat Phuong said she currently wants to prioritize curing her health problems. "I cannot do art when my body does not allow it," she said.
Besides, the female artist also said that she no longer places too much importance on fame or glory. To her, health and peace of mind are the most precious things.
