Musician Nguyen Vu, author of many immortal songs, passed away at 5:20 p.m. on September 24 at his home due to a heart attack, at the age of 81. His body was placed in state at his home on Nghia Hung Street, Ho Chi Minh City; the funeral will take place on September 25, and the body will be cremated at Binh Hung Hoa on September 26. Singer Dam Vinh Hung, when contacted by reporters, shared his grief and apologized for the late response, having just returned from the funeral.
