Mr. Khang is known as a successful singer in the youth genre, and he also made a strong impression by renewing folk songs, following a new contemporary style of singing but still imbued with tradition.
Mr. Khang's full name is Hoang Anh Khang, born in 1989 in Hanoi City. Coming from an artistic family, he is the younger brother of singer Ngoc Anh (band 3A), so from a young age, the singer studied piano at Hanoi Conservatory of Music, now the Vietnam National Academy of Music.
The older he got, the more his musical talent was revealed. By the age of 16, he had become a familiar face to young people after his success at the "Immense Age" contest with the renewed song "Go to School".
Loving singing and being able to compose, the 8X singer has "stormed" the internet through many familiar folk songs with modern and interesting expressions. Although he learned piano at a young age, he has a passion to try many musical instruments. So over time accumulated, he has mastered quite a few instruments, from folk like playing the flute, to classical like playing guitar and even modern, youthful like beatbox.
The audience must be no stranger to mentioning singer Anh Khang with songs such as "Go to School", "Drifting Clouds", "Anh Mo" ... No one will be unfamiliar when listening to a deep voice and a distinct tone, a brand that is probably only reserved for the name Anh Khang. But few people know that the singer once quit singing, was not interested in music - what the 8X boy considered a passion, was born for it.
Mr. Khang of adolescence, is a passionate young man with bigger dreams than people often dream. Dream of being like my idol, working with world-class crews. Dream of going further, going more so that you can learn and do more things. But the singer is not the type of young men who spend all day lying at home dreaming in vain.
At the age of 7, the 8X boy began piano lessons at the National Academy of Music. 14 years old, loves to play guitar. 15 years old, knows how to play drums, flute, rhythm, modern dance, hiphop, rapping, beatboxing, mixing. At the age of 16, she started going to shows, participating in singing competitions for students and was famous for her folk singing style with new and disruptive melodies. Growing up a little more, I know how to compose.
After that, Anh Khang released an impressive album "Who Is Waiting for Whom", followed by "I Dream", "Nuong Tzu", "Once Upon a Time I Came" ... It is not too much to say that the singer always knew who he was, where he was and what abilities he possessed. Musician Duc Tri once said, "Mr. Khang has made folk music 'live' rather than lying in a museum and that is how to sing folk music for young people."
The dreams of youth are always beautiful, because they are beautiful, so they are easily broken. At the age of 19, Mr. Khang, like many other young people, also fell into a psychological crisis because his thoughts and desires were not as expected. Even then, the singer almost fell into a mild depression.
It took nearly half a year for Hoang Anh Khang to recover his normal psyche. Because at this time, the job of making music he did not care, everyone who invited the show to sing also refused, except to go to school and go home, the rest literally "did nothing".
And then, those lazy days passed, because music was something that Brother Khang could not give up. He regained his spirit and decided to pursue a professional singing path by joining the company of musician Duc Tri. The album "Who Still Waits for Whom" was born as a beautiful achievement of the efforts of the original vocalists Ha Thanh and Duc Tri.
At that time, it can be said that many audiences seemed to be "captivated" by the quality music projects that Anh Khang brought to them. However, just when everyone thought the singer was climbing the seemingly destined ladder of success, suddenly the guy disappeared.
Many people can't help but wonder why the famous Anh Khang immediately "left the field" to pursue a different path. Because if he wanted to go somewhere far away, the singer could have gone earlier, not necessarily into the company and then left in a split second.
After going away for a while, Mr. Khang finally clarified all the questions of the audience: "My departure from musician Duc Tri's company is not because of discord, conflict or Mr. Tri does not have the grace to raise "chickens" as rumors suggest. There was no other reason than for Khang to go to the United States.
Khang and Tri and the siblings of Music Faces now still meet each other to eat and chat normally. During that time, everything didn't go according to everyone's wishes. I mean it's charming, so even the company name is gone after that."
Talking about going to a foreign country to study and work, Mr. Khang said that it was his childhood dream, so when he had the opportunity, he had to do it immediately. When he thinks back, the singer sees that in his youth, everyone must have dreams that they don't know when to fulfill.
It took nearly 2 years for Anh Khang to be able to integrate into the new environment. Yet there was still a shock in his life, as well as more maturity in the then 25-year-old.
During this time, Anh Khang still composed, still harmonized, still did all the music-related work. Only, things didn't go as well as the guy expected.
