Because the family has a tradition of selling pho, when he came to the US, Xuan Mai's father opened a restaurant and immediately fell in love with the traditional taste of Northern pho. For many years, his income has been mainly thanks to selling pho and being supported by his compatriots, including many friends who are artists.

"I am in the pho business because when I came to the US, I didn't have any profession. Moreover, cooking pho is my family's heirloom profession. Since I was a c.hild, I have helped my parents cook pho. My shop is crowded with customers, so I have enough to eat. But making food is also extreme. Until now, I still stand in the kitchen and cook by myself, not just manage like others, so it's hard," Tuan Canh said.

When he first came to the US, Tuan Canh and his wife lived in Hawaii. The male singer's wife has a nail salon, so he also learned this profession, helping the family with the business. The business is favorable, so the nail salon of the 2 couples is very crowded.
