I started the School of Theater and Film in 1982, right after graduating from high school. At that time, I took the exam just because I liked it, but I didn't understand much about the acting profession.

In my exam room that day, everyone was well prepared and had previous acting experience, but I was just apathetic. The teacher asked what I answered that. I didn't even know what a skit was when I was asked to act, I had to ask to go out to see everyone perform to understand and then act, but who would have guessed it passed.

It was not until I entered school that I became passionate about the profession, it was normal to practice plays until 12 midnight. We used to go to practice with only iced tea cups and iron rice cans.

After graduating from school, I joined the Youth Drama Troupe because I felt that I fit its criteria and style. Ms. Bach Lan, the leader of the delegation, also targeted me to be the core staff of the group. So I was able to be the main actor of the troupe, and continued to perform until 1990, when I won the Gold Medal of the National Theater Competition.

At the casting place, the assistant director told me to go back and forth to see if I could act. When I heard it, I was shocked because originally from the time I entered the theater school and all the years I studied at the school, until I went to perform for the troupe, I never knew what a supporting role was, I only played the main role. I leave forever.

A few days later, I was again invited to casting for the movie Turn of Life. This time, the director heard my voice to the third sentence and said: "Okay, I heard you say the third sentence and I know you're evil." Immediately, I was cast in that movie.

While filming the movie The Crossroads of Life, director Le Ngoc Linh from Hanoi invited me to cast for the movie Salty Ginger Spicy. Initially, the director aimed at me as Trang, but after reading the script, I immediately said: "I don't like this role, it's too one-sided. I like the role of Mrs. Nga more". So I was directed to play the role of Mrs. Nga. I think the director also agreed partly because I looked blue at that time due to having to work hard in business, which suited the character of Ivory in the movie.

Since that movie "Spicy Ginger Salt", I have been acting continuously until now."
