Anh Tuyet: U70 retired with her French husband, raising pigs and chickens in the villa, taking care of them like their own children

Not only successful in music, Anh Tuyet is also very "cool" in the real estate field. She is considered a "hidden tycoon" of showbiz, owning a not small amount of assets. Currently, the female singer is living a simple life with her French husband.

The "last" muse of musician Van Cao

Born into a family with an artistic tradition, Anh Tuyet was influenced by music from her father and brother from a young ag.e. She began to show her singing talent at the ag.e of 3. At the ag.e of 17, Anh Tuyet was admitted to the Quang Nam - Da Nang Folk Song and Drama and Dance Troupe. After that, she studied vocal music at Hue University of Arts.

Although she started singing early, Anh Tuyet did not become famous until she was over 30 years old. In 1993, she became famous when she sang exactly two songs, Sadness of Autumn and Heavenly Thai, in a program by musician Van Cao. At that time, the talented musician said that Anh Tuyet understood his work and sang in a way that pleased him the most.

Later, Anh Tuyet was known as the late musician's "last muse". During his lifetime, Van Cao once shed tears when he heard Anh Tuyet sing Truong Chi. He once told her: "In the beginning of his life, Van Cao had a Kim Tieu, but at the end of his life, he unexpectedly met an Anh Tuyet".

Anh Tuyet herself also shared: "Just mentioning Van Cao, just singing a melody, something naturally flows out of me, his music seems to blend into my soul.

Van Cao's music seems to push me to fly, to a very high realm. When I think of him, there are only two images: his appearance, his words, his way of speaking that I can never forget. I love and respect him immensely."

Song Anh Tuyet not only successfully performed the songs of musician Van Cao, but also great names such as Doan Chuan, Tu Linh, Pham Duy... especially Trinh Cong Son also praised her singing.

Every time Anh Tuyet sang "The Road is Far, Thousands of Miles", musician Trinh Cong Son cried. The female singer said that once after finishing singing, Trinh Cong Son pulled her aside, showed her 4 tissues in his hand and said: "I've wet all 4 tissues."

How is life now?

For many years, she has not appeared on stage because she likes the simple, peaceful life in Hoi An. Here, Anh Tuyet also owns 4 plots of land and a luxurious villa. The female singer once revealed that she bought these properties for 1 billion VND but now they are valued at nearly 100 billion VND.

Since moving to Hoi An, Anh Tuyet has rarely visited the 7,000 m2 garden house in Ho Chi Minh City. In Hoi An, the female singer lives in a spacious, quiet garden villa.

Despite owning such a huge fortune that her friends call her a "billionaire", Anh Tuyet lives an extremely simple life.

At the ag.e of nearly 70, Anh Tuyet suffers from many illnesses but is still happy with her true "farmer" life. Most of her time, Anh Tuyet spends with her pets: dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, geese, and gardening.

The spacious villa of the 6x female singer is used to raise chickens, geese, dogs, cats and a 300 kg pig named Joe Den. And the number of pets keeps increasing every year.

Sharing with Vnexpress, the female singer said that she raised this pig from when it weighed only 1 kg until it now weighs 300 kg. When Joe Den was young, Anh Tuyet often let him sleep in the same room with her. When the animal was too big, she arranged a place for it near the yard to play and rest.

Anh Tuyet names each of her pets and when she calls their names, they run after them and cling to them. Every morning and afternoon, she plays with them like a mother plays with her children.

The singer herself admitted that she was as busy taking care of her pets as she was taking care of her children. At her old ag.e, with many illnesses and the difficulty of taking care of her pets, Anh Tuyet's health is getting worse.

So much so that recently (January 6), the singer and her husband had to be hospitalized at 3am because they had difficulty breathing. Anh Tuyet's husband was diagnosed with high bloo.d pressure by the doctor and was hospitalized for monitoring, while the singer was tired due to recurrent vestibular disorders and ischemic heart disease, so she was also hospitalized for treatment.

Anh Tuyet shared on Vietnamnet that recently, she has been staying up late to take care of her pets, which has made her weaker. The female singer takes care of her pets "like a bab.y" because the maid is not yet proficient.

"We love this pig so much that we can't give it up. Its health is also a concern, but my husband and I are old, and I have many underlying diseases, so it's hard to avoid times like this," she said (source: Vietnamnet).

Talking about her life at the ag.e of U70, Anh Tuyet shared in Tuoi Tre newspaper that her son is living abroad, although she wants to have grandchildren to hold, the female singer lets her son freely choose the life he wants, without forcing or rushing anything.

After more than 10 years of proactively leaving the spotlight, Anh Tuyet is now happily living a carefree rural life. Anh Tuyet still sings when meeting friends, when there are people who understand and love her singing.
