Anh Tuyet's real estate business is very convenient. Around the mid-2000s, she "studied" people to buy land, if it was cheap, she would buy it, even without going to see the land. Anh Tuyet's brother scolded: "If he buys land, it's like buying a potato". Yet, Anh Tuyet bought and sold all of this land to another, from Ho Chi Minh City, Long Thanh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau to Hoi An.

Until one day, she was startled to realize that she had so much land that she couldn't manage it all. There are plots of land in Long Thanh, Vung Tau, which she has not visited for 10 years. There are plots of land in Ho Chi Minh City, in which the 7,000 m2 garden house is also more or less degraded. In addition, Anh Tuyet also owns a construction company.

When she had a bit of fame and a life without economic worries, Anh Tuyet had serious health problems. She went to the operating table 7 times, from appendix, tonsils, childbirth to disc herniation, spinal degeneration.

Only for herniated disc disease and spinal degeneration, Anh Tuyet had to operate 3 times. On her current body, she still has 6 screws on her spine and 3 in her neck. "Sometimes, I think I'm like a robot," the singer said on Vietnamnet.

The surgeries that Anh Tuyet remembers the most are related to her bone and joint disease. The first time Anh Tuyet was on the operating table was in 1999.

During a singing practice, Anh Tuyet raised her head to the ceiling when she suddenly felt a sharp pain. Wondering what was wrong with her, Anh Tuyet slowly raised her head again and the feeling was still the same. I think that there is simply a problem with my neck, but because of my busy work, I can't go to the doctor right away.

After a while, she also forgot to go to the doctor. Until one day two years later, she lost feeling in her hand, could not hold the bowl, chopsticks up to eat normally... Anh Tuyet just went to Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic Hospital.

The doctor diagnosed her with disc herniation, degeneration of four cervical vertebrae, two lumbar vertebrae and four mid-back vertebrae. Due to the most severe cervical spondylosis, doctors were forced to operate immediately to avoid causing spinal cord compression.

Because Anh Tuyet is a singer, the doctor had to operate from the back to ensure the aesthetic factor as well as the vocal cords for her. However, surgery from the back also means higher risks but fortunately the surgery was successful.

Anh Tuyet underwent 7 surgeries. She wears many braces and screws because of degenerative spine disease and herniated discs...

However, Anh Tuyet is always optimistic and cheerful. Because she believes that people are only born once and only die once, so live happily.

In 2007, Anh Tuyet had her second surgery. At that time, she sometimes felt unsteady when walking and standing, wanting to fall. At first, Anh Tuyet thought she had lost her balance due to low blood pressure, dizziness or maybe also because of thinking and working a lot.

But when she went to the hospital, the doctor concluded that she had a herniated disc leading to her inability to control her upper body. She had to surgically cut the disc protruding from the bone and find a way to keep the remaining three back vertebrae, which had also degenerated.

Thought that her health would be better, but 4 years later, Anh Tuyet once again had to rely on spine surgeons for the 3rd time. Back pain tormented Anh Tuyet to the point that she could not bend over. People can't get down, can't sit or walk.

Since then, she has lived with pain, from sciatica to other pains. Because, the female singer also suffers from stomach pain, adrenal insufficiency and a benign tumor in the pituitary gland in the brain.

Despite having to live with illness all year round, Anh Tuyet is always optimistic and cheerful. Even lying on the table waiting for surgery, she wittily told jokes to the doctors to ease their stress and also a way to reassure herself.

Once, a friend asked Anh Tuyet: "You keep your posture, what if you die tomorrow"? She replied: "Yes, just die". The female singer believes that, even if tomorrow is gone, today must be smiling. "I'm born once and die once, it's just that sooner or later, there's nothing to fear," Anh Tuyet added.
