Amber Heard made the public bored by constantly changing testimony.
After a two-week break, the trial of the defamation lawsuit between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard continued at Fairfax court (Virginia, USA) on May 16 (US time). The Aquaman star had a confrontation with lawyer Camille Vasquez - Depp's legal representative during the cross-examination.
Not unexpected, Amber Heard continued to tell the story of her ex-husband. The actor denied the arguments Depp had accused her of in previous trials.
Denial of defecation in bed
Previously, Mr. Starling Jenkins - Johnny Depp's longtime security guard - confirmed that he witnessed the star couple's controversy in 2016. At that time, after Heard's 30th birthday party, the two argued and leave the house. Staff discovered feces on the couple's bed.
Jenkins then had a conversation with Heard about the horrors in his boss's bed. Heard admitted she defecated in bed and called it a terrible joke, punishment for Depp's late birthday.
However, at the trial on May 16, the Aquaman star denied the above incident. She countered that the poop on the bed belonged to Boo the dog. The actress said that the dog has intestinal problems.
According to Heard, the next morning, she hurriedly packed up to go with friends to the Coachella music festival. The 36-year-old star left Boo on the bed and an unexpected incident occurred.
"I was attacked by my husband on my 30th birthday. It was terrible. Depp said I defecated in bed. It didn't happen at all. I'm a grown woman and know what to do." actor said.
She added that every time the couple had an argument, Depp often moved to another house of his in Los Angeles. Therefore, it is not true that Depp saw Heard leave poop on the bed.
"It's a disgusting scenario drawn by Depp," Heard said aloud in court.
Haven't donated $3.5 million yet
After the divorce from Depp, Heard received an amount of 7 million USD. At that time, the actress confirmed in court that she would use the money received from Depp to donate to charities, including the ACLU and Children's Hospital Los Angeles (USA).
However, at the trial that took place earlier, Terence Dougherty, CEO and advisor of the ACLU, said the organization received only $ 1.3 million from Heard. He said that $500,000 came from Elon Musk.
The rare time Heard admitted she hadn't fulfilled her promise. However, the actress blamed Depp and said he was the cause of her broken promise.
"Depp sued me for $50 million in 2019. I absolutely want to fulfill my promise to the charities. But I was caught up in the lawsuit against Depp and have not raised enough money for the charity. with the ACLU," Heard said.
Amber Heard blames ex-husband for career decline
At the trial, Heard said the time he lived with Depp was a painful memory, painful experience and wanted to forget. The actress highlighted her toxic marriage to Depp and the subsequent troubles that engulfed her entire career.
In particular, she said that the role of Princess Mera in Aquaman was heavily influenced by the lawsuit with Johnny Depp.
"I fought so hard to be in the movie. They didn't want to put me in the movie," Heard said.
When asked if she would definitely appear in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Heard replied with disappointment: "It's a bad version of that role."
"The new script was edited, removed my action scenes. Basically, they removed a lot of my role," she said of the changes in the sequel.
Representative Warner Bros. did not respond when contacted by Insider, nor have they commented on Amber Heard's statement.
Amber Heard first appeared with the image of Princess Mera, Aquaman's lover, in the movie Justice League (2017), before pairing with Jason Momoa in the solo work Aquaman (2018) - the film brought in more than 1.1 billion USD, becoming one of DC's most successful titles.
In an interview, Heard said she pocketed $1 million for the first film. For Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, the producer paid her $ 2 million (the salary does not include the commission that can be received after the film is released).
Warner Bros. currently rescheduled the release of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom from December 2022 to March 17, 2023, partly because of the female lead's controversy.
Entertainment journalist Grace Randolph recently confirmed that Heard's appearance in the blockbuster was reduced to only 10 minutes. However, this information has not been confirmed by the manufacturer.
The latest update on Change.org shows that the petition to remove Heard from Aquaman 2 has surpassed 4 million signatures. If the goal of 4.5 million people agrees, it will be the most supported online petition online.
