The body of Christine Angelica Dacera - Filipino runner-up, 23 years old, was found in the bathtub of a hotel room in City Garden, Makati, Philippines early on January 1.

In 2017, she won 1st runner-up Miss Silva Davao (Miss City Silva Davao). In 2019, she competed in Mutya ng Davao and entered the final round, but did not get a high prize.

From May 2019, she started working as a flight attendant for PAL Express and then moved to Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. The last flight she took was on December 28.

On the night of December 31, 2020, she called her mother in General Santos City and said that she was going out on New Year's Eve with friends and colleagues.
