"The opportunity for Xuan Son to return to top sports is completely possible. Technically speaking, nothing too complicated. However, surgery only accounts for 10% of the process, and 90% of recovery depends on the work behind," Professor Dung emphasized.

The expert said that the multi-specialty coordination in treatment is an important factor to help Xuan Son return to top form. Each stage of the male striker's recovery will need to be closely monitored by the sports medicin.e team, from nutrition and weight control to specialized recovery exercises in each stage.

"For injuries related to joints and ligaments, recovery can sometimes rely on luck. However, in the case of Xuan Son's fracture, as long as the bone fusion process is good and the recovery is correct, the ability to return to 100% performance is completely possible," Professor Dung added.

The surgery lasted 85 minutes. The doctor used ultrasound and CT to check and ensure the correct bone alignment. After the surgery, Xuan Son was closely cared for and monitored, with the hope of recovering well to return to the field soon.
