'Mukbang King' pranks 33 million Internet users, transforms to under 80kg?

Nikocado Avocado (real name: Nicholas Perry, 32 years old) is one of the famous YouTubers in the mukbang village with more than 4.2 million followers.

Previously, he had a well-proportioned body, before mukbanging so much that he suffered from an eating disorder, obesity, and had to use a ventilator to stay alive.

He is said to have "initiated" many toxic eating trends such as eating 4 packs of Korean spicy noodles with many pieces of durian at once. After many years of making videos of himself eating recklessly, Nikocado Avocado weighed up to 186 kg.

Recently, Nikocado Avocado has made a comeback with a spectacular transformation. He appeared with a skinny appearance and claimed to have fooled the whole world! Because for the past 2 years, Nikocado had been secretly losing weight without telling anyone.

The viral video, titled "Two Steps Ahead," has garnered more than 29 million views as of the morning of September 9. In it, Perry says he "pranked" the entire Internet and that everything he's done for the past eight years has been a "social experiment."

"This is the greatest social experiment of my life. It's fascinating to watch all these lost souls roam the internet looking for stories, for ideas, to pry into my life," Perry said.

The video also served as a response to the online community, as Perry insinuated that his followers were "ants" and mocked them for commenting on his overweight appearance.

"I am the villain because I have made myself the villain. And you will continue to consume these stories about me. Just yesterday, people were calling me fat, sick, and boring. These stories infect the minds of ants. You are the ants," he continued.

Specifically, on Nikocado's channel, mukbang videos with his obese appearance still appear regularly. But in fact, they are all pre-produced videos. Nikocado tries to edit the videos to look like the latest updates, while he secretly loses weight.

To avoid detection, Nikocado shaved his hea.d so that people wouldn't recognize him in public. He also asked other YouTuber friends to help keep it a secret. And after 2 years, he lost 110kg and now weighs about 72kg.

Nikocado's weight loss video has received more than 34 million views in just a few days after being posted. He calls this a sca.m and calls his video 2 Steps Ahead.

He shared: "Today, I woke up from a very long dream having lost more than 100 kg from my body. Just yesterday, people were calling me fat, nauseous... Humans are the messiest creatures on the planet and I try to stay two steps ahead of everyone. This joke is for you."

Nikocado donned a panda mask before revealin.g his current image. He said it was a hint that “social media is not as black and white as people appear to be,” and encouraged netizens not to take the Internet for granted.

“While people criticiz.e and laugh at me for overeating, I have complete control over everything,” he added. “In fact, people often get hooked on Internet celebrities and obsessively follow their content.”
