Recently, the incident of Tiktoker Hang Du Muc (real name Nguyen Thi Thai Hang) divorcing her husband has attracted much attention from the online community. Many people expressed sympathy as well as anger when they learned that Hang Du Muc was constantly physically abused while living with this Chinese man.

Regarding this incident, psychologist Hong Huong, who is a permanent resident at the Residency Library - Vietnam Association for the Protection of Children's Rights, said that she completely agrees with Hang Du Muc's decision. Because her husband had a behavioral and psychological deviation, leading to wrongdoing with his wife.

"Although Hang Du Muc appears confident on the outside, he is actually very self-conscious and always feels anxious and scared. When people are anxious, their emotions will lead to stress. If the stress is not resolved, it will lead to chronic stress, anxiety disorders and possibly depression," said Ms. Hong Huong.

Explaining why Hang Du Muc chose to leave all her possessions behind and gain custody of her child, Ms. Huong said that not only Hang Du Muc but also victims of physical violence would act similarly in those moments. Because they only wanted to escape and find safety for themselves.

According to Maslow's hierarchy of needs, people must have their basic needs met such as food, drink, rest, shelter, excretion, and then a sense of security about physical safety, employment... before they can demand other needs.

But at this moment, Hang Du Muc is falling into a state where the most basic human need is not met, which is to live. "Her life is in danger, just like when a house is on fire, people just want to run out and escape, not go back in to get their belongings. Hang Du Muc probably felt that it was too much to bear and had decided to divorce a long time ago. The moment she was physically impacted was the last straw, causing her to make the decision immediately," said the psychologist.

Recently, Hang Du Muc had to temporarily stop most of her livestreaming work to focus on the trial. She has not announced an official return date, but a member of Quang Linh's team accidentally revealed that the female tiktoker will appear in the mega live session on August 27.

After returning and being raised by their aunt, the two sons Nhat Duong and Dich Duong were jokingly called Hang Du Muc's "personal bodyguards" by fans as they always followed her and supported her in her work. Both are expected to appear with Hang Du Muc in the upcoming mega live session.
