In an interview with Vogue Italia published on July 23, Hailey Bieber admitted that the postpartum period was "the most fragile period" she had ever experienced in her life, and "learning to live with a new version of myself was extremely difficult."

"Going through that while constantly reading false information online like 'They're getting a divorce' or 'They're not happy together anymore' is really crazy. I'm not even sure I can describe it. It's a crazy life," Justin Bieber's wife said.

Previously, in an interview with Vogue in May, Hailey also strongly defended her relationship with Justin, and shared about the wave of hatred that she hoped would decrease after becoming pregnant.

"After being with him for 7 years, I thought things would calm down. You would think that after giving birth, people would stop caring, would be less critical. But no. So, they will probably stay angry forever," the beauty said about the anti-fans who constantly stalked her after many years of marriage.

She also said she learned a lot from her husband about how to deal with criticism: "He's had to do this since he was a kid, and he's had to deal with a level of scrutiny that's greater than anyone I've ever known. He told me, 'Baby, trust me, I've been through this so many times. You can't win. There's no way you can win.'"

While Hailey continuously spoke out to defend her marriage, Justin also had words of praise for his wife: "I've done a lot of stupid things in my life. But the smartest thing I've ever done was marry Hailey."
