The butterflies migrating to Cuc Phuong are mainly white butterflies, but there are also some other colorful butterflies such as phoenix butterflies, panicle butterflies ... Flocks hovered all the way from the forest gate to the inside, chirping at the feet of visitors. That beautiful sight made the whole forest and the sanctuary space suddenly brilliant and excited.

According to visitors who have visited, the more on sunny days, the more butterflies will appear. To find out where there are many butterflies perching, tourists should move a little deeper into the interior of the forest, while bringing a little fresh water and salt to make food for butterflies.

The butterfly season not only attracts groups of young tourists to explore but also a time when many parents choose to bring their children to learn and learn more about this interesting creature, as well as the natural landscape in Cuc Phuong forest. During hot summer days, Cuc Phuong National Park is also an ideal destination for visitors to cool down and breathe fresh air.

Butterflies in Cuc Phuong are quite "approachable" so visitors can contact directly and take photos at a close distance. More than 120km from Hanoi, visitors have many transportation options to Cuc Phuong forest. Cars and motorbikes are popular self-sufficient options, you can move along the route of Phap Van - National Highway 1A, through junction 3 of Cockroachkou, follow Highway 13 to reach the forest.

If you go by bus, you can catch trips at Giap Bat bus station to Nho Quan. Because the route is quite short, tickets are only about 70,000 to 100,000 VND / time. After getting off at Nho Quan, take a bus to Cuc Phuong forest. The ticket price at the garden is 60,000 VND for adults, 10,000 VND for children (from grade 1 to grade 11) and free for children under 6 years old.

Cuc Phuong forest has nearly 400 species of butterflies, such as white butterflies, panicle butterflies, phoenix butterflies, phalaenopsis ... in all colors and sizes. But the most common are whiteflies, they prefer damp places, puddles or mud.

With the experience of successfully hunting butterflies this summer, a tourist shared: "Choose sunny days to hunt butterflies, then butterflies will fly out of the shelter, creating a colorful picture. Areas with warm sunshine and wet soil are where butterflies congregate the most.

To take good photos, it is necessary to be very gentle when moving to the butterflies, do not make noise otherwise the butterflies will fly up and not gather in large numbers. Then just angle the image and there will be the photos of a lifetime, with the acting support of hundreds of butterflies."

When coming to Cuc Phuong forest, visitors can also participate in camping, playing, visiting sanctuaries of plants and wildlife, delight in exploring nature, admire ancient palm trees, lantern trees ...

In addition to the wonderful scenery of butterflies proliferating, visitors can also admire the harmony of many animals in the old forest and millions of tiny firefly stars sparkling throughout the old forest. There are three most beautiful areas for firefly viewing inside Cuc Phuong National Park, the Garden Gate lodge and the Mac Lake area.

When night gradually falls in the great thousand, it is also time for tiny light bulbs to light up the space. This is one of the most beautiful and impressive scenes in Cuc Phuong in April every year.

In addition to butterflies and fireflies, some activities are popular with visitors when coming to Cuc Phuong and trekking, participating in wildlife watching tours and camping, eating through the night. Currently, in addition to tours of forest management boards, visitors can use sightseeing - camping services of tour operators, providing private tourism services or sightseeing in the form of self-sufficiency.

Tents can be rented from the garden management, and food and drinks can be found at the surrounding shops. However, if visitors want to stay overnight in the forest, they should prepare enough luggage to ensure safety and pay attention to general hygiene, do not throw garbage indiscriminately.
