Behind the bright smile and the somewhat "hard to bear" humorous stories on livestream or VCS stage, few people know that female MC Remind, real name Du Phong Linh, had a difficult childhood and extraordinary determination.

Du Phong Linh, born in 1999 in Ho Chi Minh City, is widely known by the nickname Remind. She is a famous female gamer and streamer in the League of Legends (LoL) and Valorant communities. Recently, Remind also took on the role of MC at the VCS tournament, the leading professional LoL tournament in Vietnam, attracting the attention of a large audience.

Remind has a pretty face, bright appearance and especially "not-so-average" gaming skills. She used to be the mid laner of the EVOS Valkyrie women's team, proving that her talent is not inferior to male gamers. Not only stopping at LMHT, Remind also tried her hand at the shootin.g game Valorant and achieved certain successes.

Few people know that, behind Remind's strong and individualistic appearance is a difficult past. She once shared in an interview about being abandoned as a chil.d. "When I was born... before, my life had many obstacles, since I was born, I was... abandoned! Since I was born, I was abandoned, then I was adopted, generally speaking, my adoptive parents were good, there were no problems. Later, they had more children, two more younger siblings, having more was just fun, nothing sad. Generally speaking, it was not until I was in 8th grade that I learned... the truth."

From her first days of playing League of Legends in season 3, Remind quickly achieved Platinum 3 rank, a rank higher than 50% of players on the Vietnamese server. After that, she continued to strive and achieved desirable ranks such as Diamond 5 (season 4), Diamond 1 (season 5) and Master in 3 consecutive seasons.

Not only is she good at gaming, Remind also participates in many professional tournaments for women and has achieved many impressive achievements such as winning the icafe Go Vap championship and the Kingdom Next Gen HCM women's championship. She was the captain of the EVOS Valkyrie women's team, demonstrating her leadership and team spirit.

After a period of working as a gamer and streamer, Remind decided to try her hand at a new field: MC. She officially became the MC of VCS Spring 2023, replacing MC Mai Dora. Remind's appearance has brought a new breeze to the tournament.

However, the role of MC also brought many challenges for Remind. One of the memorable (and controversial) moments was when she told a story about wordplay during the match between SBTC Esports and Team Secret. The story was not too funny but attracted the attention of a large audience. Many people think that Remind's way of leading is not really suitable for a professional environment like VCS.

Remind herself admits her limitations, especially her embarrassment when standing in front of a crowd. However, she always strives to learn and improve her skills. Those who have followed Remind for a long time know that "bland" stories are part of her brand. The important thing is that Remind dares to challenge herself and bring her own colors to VCS.

Although busy with her work as a streamer and MC, Remind still does not forget her study duties at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City. She always tries to balance between studying and pursuing her passion.
