Previously, Trang Nhung worked for about 3 years as a flight attendant and was honored to become one of 10 Vietnamese trainee pilots sent for intensive training according to European standards in Finland. and Azerbaijan.

Initially, "female co-pilot" Trang Nhung chose to become a flight attendant to satisfy her passion for the sky. Once in the cockpit to watch the pilots take off and land, the desire to control the cockpit and become the emotional guide for flights began to rekindle in her heart.

"Female co-pilot" Trang Nhung said: "I used to be a person who was afraid of heights. But the sublime feeling of being fully captured in the sight of the sparkling night sky erased the fear that once invaded me. ".

Besides, Trang Nhung is fortunate to have support from her relatives on her journey to realizing her dream. After 3 years as a flight attendant, Trang Nhung's journey to becoming a pilot began with a basic pilot training course at Royhle Aviation Academy. She continued to pass the selection round of Bamboo Airways and determined to follow the Embraer aircraft line for the pilot conversion training program.

"The competition rate in each interview to select pilots is very high. Embraer is not the choice of the majority because this is a new aircraft line, without many traces of Vietnamese people. My choice has made Many relatives and friends were worried, but I decided to turn the side street into a private path" - Trang Nhung shared.

In early 2021, Trang Nhung was one of the first 10 trainee pilots in Vietnam to be trained in the Embraer aircraft pilot training program according to European standards in Finland and Azerbaijan. After more than a year of participating in ground and flight training to accumulate experience with a continuous flight curriculum and a series of difficult tests, the female pilot officially became a co-pilot at the age of 23, becoming a Vietnamese female co-pilot. first piloted an Embraer jetliner.

Recalling the feeling of flying "solo" for the first time, Trang Nhung excitedly shared: "I was so nervous that I didn't dare look down. With the support of the instructor, I took a deep, calm breath. static handling throughout the flight. When the plane landed successfully, I felt very proud and proud, because not only did I stop at my dream, I was able to spread my wings to explore the sky by myself by train. Embraer modern jet aircraft".

Besides, Trang Nhung also said that perhaps only the pilot profession gives her the opportunity to experience such beautiful moments. She never imagined that she would get so close to the sky and witness so many touching moments of reunion. She also feels very lucky to have chosen the right career.

Behind a strong and confident Trang Nhung operating a large aircraft is no small trade-off. The female co-pilot many times sacrificed her limited time to dedicate herself to her job.

Trang Nhung said: "To have more time to spend with my family and ensure good health, I often prioritize alternating vacation time and flight schedules. This is the way to help me balance everything and avoid creates pressure at work".

Even though she is busy with aviation work, Trang Nhung always takes advantage of cultivating more useful knowledge to perfect her lacking skills. Currently, she is striving to successfully complete her bachelor's degree program at the National Economics University and focus on doing a good job as a real pilot.
