While the whole country is actively shipping the Pu and Chai couple in Di Giua Troi Ruc Rot, another character, Dat, is also getting attention as she is related to the two main roles. She was even jokingly accepted by Chai's mother as her daughter-in-law.
The film "Di giua troi ruc ro" (Walking in the Roaring Sky) directed by Do Thanh Son is "making waves" on VTV's prime time, thanks to the attraction of its young, dynamic and well-acting cast. Besides the beloved couple Chai (Long Vu) - Pu (Thu Ha Ceri), the character Dat played by actress Quynh Chau also impressed the audience.
In the film, Dat likes Chai so he always tries to tease the main couple. Despite being the villain, Quynh Chau received many compliments for her acting and good interaction with co-star Long Vu - Van Dung's son.
Even when seeing the picture of her son and Quynh Chau, artist Van Dung "chosen" her as her daughter-in-law. These interactions made netizens very excited.
Sharing with the media, Quynh Chau said that the conversation about accepting a daughter-in-law between her and artist Van Dung was a joke between the two sisters. Before starring in the movie Di Giua Troi Ruc Roc, she and her senior Van Dung had acted together in the movie Nguoi Mot Nha by director Trinh Le Phong, so they were quite close to each other.
"In that movie, Van Dung is the mother of Tri - Diep's lover - played by me. In the movie Di giua troi ruc ro, I played the role of a girl who likes Chai played by Long Vu - Van Dung's son - so there was such a happy story", she said.
Talking about the criteria for choosing a daughter-in-law, Van Dung shared: "A daughter-in-law who knows how to "flatter" will give me everything! I think when you have a daughter-in-law, the first thing you have to do is love her first, then she will love you too. Because you didn't give birth to a daughter-in-law, you can't force her to love you.
The important thing is, they love their son is another thing, but they love you because of the way you behave. I don't have a daughter so I like having a daughter-in-law in the house even more."
When asked what she thinks of actor Long Vu, Quynh Chau said: "In real life, Long Vu is a well-behaved, polite, energetic younger brother with many talents such as dancing beautifully and being very charming. He is also very enthusiastic about his work and does not shy away from difficulties."
Quynh Chau said she doesn't care about main or supporting roles, but wants to do her best in the role she is assigned. She always appreciates every opportunity that comes her way and she wants to play a variety of roles.
"Whether playing a positive or negative role, each must have their own unique qualities. The important thing is that the artist must "breathe life" into their role to create a difference in each character they play," Quynh Chau confided.
Quynh Chau shared that she is single. Talking about her ideal boyfriend, the actress expressed: "I like someone who is loyal and determined. Just those two things. A person who is loyal in love is definitely a kind person, with a sincere and honest heart. A person like that cannot help but love his family and those around him."
The actress also expressed that rich men are often talented, but wealth must go hand in hand with virtue to be more perfect. "I also want to love someone with ambition, maybe they don't have anything in hand but are willing to work hard and try to have a better life tomorrow," she honestly said.
Besides, Quynh Chau affirmed that she does not love someone in the same profession. "My job is too hard so I don't want to love someone who is as hard-working as me. To me, the most important thing in love is absolute trust in yourself and the person next to you. I will never change that thinking," the actress emphasized.
Quynh Chau was born in 1998. She graduated from Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema and is currently working at Hanoi Drama Theater. Quynh Chau won first prize in the King and Queen 2018 contest of Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema and a silver medal at the 2021 National Drama Festival.
