Many tourists have spoken out about the service quality of restaurants in Hanoi, TikToker Tikka Hoang Hien also had a bad experience at a familiar restaurant. However, the fact that she commented that Hanoians were too cruel made people angry.
Recently, hot TikToker Tikka Hoang Hien has caused controversy with a series of "touching" statements towards Hanoians. Specifically, the clip posted last week shared about bad experiences when going to a food business in Hang Quat. Accordingly, there were too many customers, so the owner told her to sit at the bar next door.
After a while, the owner of the restaurant asked if she wanted to order water, Tikka Hoang Hien immediately refused because she intended to only eat, then go to another shop to drink coffee. After that, the owner of the restaurant invited her out of the restaurant because she did not order food but used the space of this restaurant.
Hoang Hien said she was annoyed by the lack of standard behavior of the owner of the restaurant, the TikToker said that this is a common business model linked together, so why chase customers away when not ordering water. Closing the issue, Tikka Hoang Hien affirmed that "Hanoi people live too cheaply". Explaining this problem, Hoang Hien said: "The kind they are not willing to trade seats in exchange for the comfort and joy of customers".
She claims to have lived in Hanoi for about 8 years, she loves the feeling of peace in the capital, but sometimes there are truths that make her disappointed. Tikka Hoang Hien emphasized that she has received a lot of feedback about the service of some restaurants in Hanoi, she hopes that the online community will dare to speak out to "eliminate" restaurants with unsophisticated behavior.
Immediately, the statement of her TikToker more than 1.5 million followers received mixed opinions. Some people expressed sympathy for her because she spent money to eat but received a bad experience in return. Besides, there are also many opinions that she has a false statement about the character of Hanoians, do not equate many people just because of a situation related to the behavior of the owner of the restaurant.
However, in society with many different components and different personalities, it is not uncommon to encounter bad experiences in Hanoi in particular or in any other province. Customers have the right to demand good service quality, corresponding to the amount of money they spend, but also do not equate others and make false statements.
Notably, below the post about the incident, Tran Duc Bo also left a comment defending Hoang Hien. He wrote: "Bo has seen her clip and she won't include all Hanoians. So please don't go through a few posts and curse people..."
Some comments from netizens:

"Everywhere there's this person and that person"
"It's right to sit at a place selling people's water without calling it out. But that cup of tea is 3k, it's not that much"
"Actually, it's smart to talk a bit and the owner of the restaurant is sometimes happy to not chase it. Because of the way I respond to people."
