Mr. Khiem Vu, an administrator of a community of content creators on a social network, said that besides making money, the desire to be famous is a common point of many social network users. "On TikTok, most of the content creators and viewers are young, so there will be cases where there is no mature awareness in making videos and despite being known to many people," Khiem said. He assessed this situation on TikTok similar to Facebook or YouTube at the new stage of importing into Vietnam.

The status of video bullshit on social networks is partly due to the competition to attract and retain users of new platforms. During the two years of the pandemic, TikTok's short videos quickly became a worldwide craze. Witnessing that spectacular success, from last year and earlier this year, other platforms also joined the race to create short video features to serve the taste. However, experts believe that the race makes the content moderation team not keep up with the rapidly increasing number of users, even making a deliberate choice in selecting the content that is allowed to appear for the purpose of viewing views and optimizing profits.
