Bella added, "I'll go back to modeling when I'm ready. I miss you all so much. I love people so much."
In 2016, the model opened up to People about battling Lyme disease while working. "Life isn't always what it seems," Bella Hadid said at the time.
It was reported in 2014 that Bella Hadid was suspected of having Lyme disease with detected medical symptoms. In 2016, she was definitively determined to have Lyme disease.
In early July, Bella Hadid posed for a lingerie photo shoot for Victoria's Secret. She was criticized for having an alarmingly bone-thin body, promoting the fasting modeling movement.
