However, writer and director Mike White used the same old formula as the first two parts of the satirical series: "From the opening allusions to a shockin.g death to the deception and self-deception of the list of presumptuous protagonists, wealthy, mostly white, mostly Americans seeking escape in the closed luxury of a lavish retreat, White gave his bitter reproach on parasitism...".

However, the director was praised for having a fairly fresh interpretation of the film on an old formula, typically renewing the cast with prominent faces in season 3 such as Walton Goggins, Parker Posey, Carrie Coon, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Aimee Lou Wood.

However, the Hollywood Reporter expressed disappointment at the lackluster appearance of Lisa and the Thai actors in the series, even though "The White Lotus 3" is set in Thailand.

In the film, Lisa's character Mook is a health advisor for guests staying at The White Lotus Hotel. She has a sweet love story with security guard Gaitok (Tayme Thapthimthong). Besides, there is the regal demeanor of the co-owner of the Sritala resort (Lek Patravadi) - adding to the plot involving the locals.

But the magazine described these characters as "not an integral part", implying vague roles that could be removed from the film without affecting the plot.

"Not making the Thai characters more complex has reduced the value of the actors, especially Lalisa Manobal - who has abundant charisma but does not contribute much to the attraction of the film," the Hollywood Reporter wrote.

The fact that Lisa is only a supporting character is inevitable, because she is a horizontal actor with no acting experience. Earlier, in an interview with Variety, Lisa recalled the difficult early days of filming: "I was very nervous. I was sweating. At that time, I only had thoughts like: I can't remember my lines. I was completely disoriented."

But she quickly overcame the barrier to integrate with the film crew and connect with her co-stars during the break and share about music. Lisa also thanked her colleagues for helping her a lot in her debut role.
