VTV's elegant MC Thai Trang, a bilingual host, 'surpasses' Khanh Vy

Thai Trang or Trang Thai is an MC with a youthful, dynamic appearance and a charming smile. She conquers the audience with her intelligence and charm in hosting.

BTV Thai Trang (born in 1993) came to the television industry through the program "Rainbow" in 2014. With her intelligence and agility, Thai Trang gradually won the hearts of the audience and became one of the highly appreciated faces of VTV6. After nearly 10 years of effort and hard work, Thai Trang is currently taking on a new position and role as the main host of Chuyen Dong 24h.

Sharing the pressure of leading "Chuyen Dong 24h", BTV Thai Trang said: "Chuyen Dong 24h is a news bulletin with continuously updated news, something I have never done before. Therefore, although I have experience hosting a program, I have never had the experience of leading a news bulletin with a large amount of news that is updated quickly and is the hottest news that the audience is most interested in like Chuyen Dong 24h. It is indeed a huge pressure".

In addition to her professional knowledge, Thai Trang also has good bilingual hosting skills, so she was chosen as the English MC for the entire event and Gala night of VTV's "International Children's Festival" 2019, or the special international art program called "Heritage Avenue" 2019.

Currently, Thai Trang is the MC for the programs Digital Generation News, Who is coming today, and Take off. Since childhood, Thai Trang has loved watching TV shows and dreamed of one day appearing on TV. Since then, she has continuously studied to improve her knowledge to achieve that dream. After winning the runner-up prize in the "Rainbow" contest in 2014, Thai Trang went to work for VTV, when she was still a student. With her intelligence, agility and humor, Thai Trang gradually won the hearts of the audience and became one of the bright names of VTV6.

Not only does she have a solid knowledge base, she is also considered one of VTV's MCs with good English speaking ability. Therefore, Thai Trang was chosen as the English MC for the entire event and Gala night of VTV International Children's Festival 2019, or the special international art program of VTV's VESAK Festival called Heritage Avenue.

Among the programs that Thai Trang has ever taken on, Cat Canh is probably the most challenging political program for her. However, the more difficult and challenging it is, the more Thai Trang proves her ability. With Cat Canh, Thai Trang has truly proven her ability. After more than 1 year on air, Thai Trang still maintains the feeling of joy and excitement when standing on the runway.

Taking on the role of MC of political commentary makes her feel proud but also pressured. Each topic, each guest is a wonderful experience that helps journalists like Thai Trang approach characters, politicians, celebrities or simply ordinary people who are doing extraordinary work.

In contrast to her neat and discreet image when on air for political news, in real life, Thai Trang is beautiful and gentle. The 30-year-old female editor has a slim figure and a radiant smile. On her personal page or in everyday photos, Thai Trang prefers light outfits, sometimes no less charming and sexy. Currently, the female editor of "Chuyen dong 24h" has a happy little family.

"I am lucky to always have my family by my side to support me, so I never have to be stressed. I have my husband and parents on both sides to help me, I am always free in my work and devoted to my own passions. I feel very grateful for that. The priorities I mentioned above will also help me feel more relaxed and balanced" - Thai Trang shared.

When returning home, simply being a mother, Thai Trang will have a very special way of raising her children: "I will be like any other Vietnamese mother (laughs). There is one thing that few people will believe or find strange, which is that I have never yelled at my children. I always think why I am gentle with work, gentle with colleagues and guests, but cannot be gentle with my children? I always have in mind that I should treat my children as if someone were watching. So even when I am at home, I never yell at my children. When they do something wrong, I will maintain a serious attitude to talk to them.

I also do not hesitate to say loving words and express my feelings to my children. So in my family there is never a lack of loving words and the atmosphere is always happy, truly a warm home for husband, wife and children to return to after a long day. When the child cries, my husband will say something like this: "Go outside and cry, because our house will be a place where there will only be laughter". I think that is both a teaching and a threat. I think it is true, the house will be a place where there will only be laughter and happiness".
