In the role of Miss Earth Vietnam 2022, Thach Thu Thao had two weeks of online Miss Earth contest from the end of October to the beginning of November. After that, she will fly to the Philippines to take the direct exam for two weeks. After completing this international competition, Thao will return to Can Tho, complete her university program before returning to Ho Chi Minh City for showbiz activities. "I certainly wouldn't leave my studies unfinished," she said.

Thach Thu Thao was born in 2001 in Tra Vinh, a Khmer ethnic. After graduating from secondary school, she once intended to drop out of school and work as a hired hand to make a living because of her difficult family. But encouraged by her parents, she studied hard and passed the exam to Nam Can Tho University.
