Makeup artist Lam Nguyen died of a violent illness at 13:14 on May 9 at Pham Ngoc Thach Hospital (HCMC), aged 32, shocking many artists and colleagues.

Unable to hide her sadness when her brother permanently passed away, her sister Lam Nguyen expressed: "The journey of my life with me for only 32 years, from the thorny maturity road to the flowery road of the present, I have paid with effort and dedication in my career. I still remember the day my 2 sisters decided to leave their family to live separately, I was 17 years old, I was 15 years old, no money, no rights, no home. The sister said Lam Nguyen was in pain on the last day of his life but died quickly. The 32-year-old makeup artist resiliently battled the illness until the last minute despite being terrified.

"My brother still fantasizes about the future, with beautiful makeup items that he bought but have not yet used. My brother was always good and effortless. And today, my brother has not suffered any physical or mental pain anymore," Ha shared.

Earlier, Ms. Ha Nguyen thanked her friends and colleagues for helping Lam Nguyen on the last day of her life: "I would like to sincerely thank everyone who always accompanied my brother. Today we don't see you again. It was so painful that I let go.

According to beauty blogger Call Me Duy (a companion of Lam Nguyen for nearly 10 years), the makeup artist was admitted to the hospital for treatment of lung disease at Pham Ngoc Thach Hospital on May 8 in critical condition.

At 10:27 p.m. on May 8, he contacted his family when he learned that Lam Nguyen was in a deep coma. Lam Nguyen's lungs did not work, leading to kidney failure and a poor prognosis.

On the morning of May 9, the doctor let Lam Nguyen go home to breathe oxygen. He died in the afternoon of the same day.
