Stray Kids plots to overthrow Jimin (BTS), raising ambitions to dominate Kpop

While senior Jimin released his second solo album titled MUSE. The album is about love, including 7 songs including the title song Who. The group Stray Kids expressed their ambition to dominate the global music market with their new album ATE, taking the throne.

On the afternoon of July 19, Jimin (BTS) and the band Stray Kids jointly released a new music product. They are the most famous male idols in Kpop today. Therefore, the confrontation between idols immediately attracted public attention.

Big Hit Music explained that Jimin's first solo album Face, released in March 2023, describes the journey to finding a complete "I", while MUSE tells about the journey of finding inspiration around. The Who theme song belongs to the hip-hop R&B genre, featuring producer Pdog, singer-songwriter, Grammy-nominated producer John Bellion, producer Pete Nappy and Ten Rock.

Jimin will appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which will air on the afternoon of July 23 (local time). This is the first time he performed the title song Who.

Besides, MUSE brings a classic breath with images of old cassette tapes representing each song. The songs Rebirth, Interlude: Showtime, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band, Slow Dance, Be Mine, Who, and Closer Than This all have retro, old but unique colors.

Meanwhile, JYP Entertainment's group Stray Kids continues to sing the message of spirit, courage and ambition. The group's theme song is Chk Chk B.oom with a unique Latin color and catchy melody.

In particular, MV Chk Chk B.oom has the participation of Deadpool & Wolverine stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. In it, Ryan Reynolds once admitted that he was a longtime fan of Stray Kids. In addition, Stray Kids will also release the Deadpool & Wolverine soundtrack titled SLASH on July 23, one day before the movie premieres in Korea.

Stray Kids held a press conference to introduce the new mini album ATE at Conrad Seoul Grand Ballroom in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul on July 19.
